MSC Cruises made the service we provide to our guests one of our outmost priorities.
During an MSC Cruises holiday your clients -- our guests - meet staff throughout the ship who provide them with excellent service, supported by just as many staff and crew who work just as hard behind the scenes to ensure every moment of their time onboard is enjoyable in every way.
Today we are rolling out a common approach across all markets with respect to Hotel Service Charge which cover onboard hospitality services.
Starting on 1 April of this year - for all new reservations on Winter 2021-22 departures and onwards - Hotel Service Charge will become mandatory as an integral part of the total cruise price.
It will be possible to prepay them at the time of booking or pay it at the end of the cruise. They will be automatically added to the final shipboard invoice and it will no longer be possible to modify or cancel them once onboard.
All our Digital Sales Channels as well as communication materials (brochures, folders, promotional display, etc.) will be customized to ensure our new policy, which has carefully been vetted, is explained in full transparency to all guests. In particular, we will ensure that there is absolute clarity regarding the final price throughout the whole booking experience.
Also, in light of the strong constant commitment of MSC Cruises with all its partners, to further support communication to our guests, we are glad to inform you that for a limited time period we are going to launch a promotional offer on pre-paid Hotel Service Charge. Effective from April 1st through June 30th, pre-paid Hotel Service Charge will be subject to 50% discount.
This promotion will be applicable to all ships and sailings from Winter 2021/22 onward except for World Cruise sailings which instead will benefit from a 30% discount.
